Who Is Eligible to Appear in the UPSC EPFO?
Now the candidates should know the parameters included in the eligibility criteria of this exam. Each applicant must follow the comprehensive instructions and meet all requirements for the UPSC EPFO Eligibility to avoid disqualification at a later stage. It includes:
- Age Limit: The official age limit to apply for this exam is 30 years for all the general category students; however, the reserve category students will get some age relaxation as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- EPFO Employee: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers: 5 years
- Central Govt Employee: 5 years
- PH: 10 years
- Educational Qualification: A graduation degree is mandatory. The candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
- Nationality: The candidates need to serve the below-mentioned nationality criteria.
- Indian citizens
- Be a subject of Bhutan and China.
- A Tibetian refugee who moved to India for permanent residence before 1 January 1962.
- Indian citizens from Burma, Pakistan, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zaire, Zambia, Sri Lanka, Malawi, or East African countries of Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
- Number of Attempts: No limitations on the number of attempts until the candidates are eligible as per the official age limit specifications.
